Linked Variations

BricksUltimate introduces an innovative feature that brings greater versatility to simple product types. Now, you can link variations to a simple product and seamlessly switch between them directly on the product page—just like variable products, but with the simplicity of a single-product structure.

Step-by-Step User Guide

Step 1:

Make sure that you installed and activated the BricksUltimate addon. Now navigate to Bricks -> BricksUltimate -> Misc tab and enable the "Linked Variations" feature.

Step 2:

Add an attribute and terms:

1. Go to Products -> Attributes
2. Enter name
3. Click on the Add Attribute button

Add terms of an attribute:

1. Right side you will get all the attributes list.
2. Click on the "Configure terms" link of an attribute.
3. You will get a new page.
4. Enter the details like name, slug, description, etc.
5. Save the details.

You would follow the same process for the other attributes.

Step 3:

We should add or edit a simple type woocommerce product and assign the attributes.

1. Go to Products -> Add New page.
2. Go to Product Data metabox.
3. Select simple product type from the dropdown.
4. Click on "Attributes".
5. Add the existing attributes or click on Add New button.
6. If you clicked on the Add New button, you should enter the name and value.
7. Checked Visible on the product page checkbox.
8. Click on Save Attribute button.

To link another simple product with attributes, follow the same process as before.

Step 4:

To map/merge all simple products with the attributes and show them on the single product page or other pages.

1. Go to Products -> Linked Variations page
2. Click on Add New button
3. Enter title
4. Linked the products. Search the products and add them.
5. Linked the attributes. Search the attributes and add them.
6. Configure which attributes displays the product image and which displays the attribute label.
7. Click on Publish button

Now open the single product template on the Bricks editor and add the Linked Variations element on the canvas. Save the template.
